The WV Chapter wishes to support students in physical therapist and physical therapist assistant entry level programs to attend the annual Student Conclave sponsored by the American Physical Therapy Association. Eligibility Students in their 2nd or 3rd year at West Virginia University, Wheeling Jesuit University, Fairmont State University, Marshall University, or Mountain State University. Applicants must be student members of the APTA or willing to join as part of the application process. Award Two recipients of $100 each. Timeframe: Applications are due by September 30th each year. Awards will be determined and applicants notified by October 13, 2009. Awarded students will attend the Student Conclave, this year scheduled for Miami, Florida on October 30-November 1. Expectation is scholarship winners will submit an article for the WV Chapter newsletter with a deadline of December 7th. HOLD THE DATE for 2011 Conference
The WVPTA is returning to the beautiful centrally located resort--STONEWALL RESORT---April 16, 17, 2011. The Education Committee is already working on the speakers and topics for next year.
